  • MASE systems are built to meet the safety requirements of the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The bed uses a counterweight system, allowing the motor to move only a small, balanced load, primarily pillows and blankets. It is not designed to lift the weight of a person. If someone attempts to lie on the bed while it is moving, the motor will stall automatically. Additionally, the system features built-in obstacle detection and will stop immediately if anything is detected in its path.

  • Installation of the MASE Bed is designed to be straightforward and hassle-free. Our plug-and-play, standalone system requires only a standard electrical outlet and does not demand any structural modifications. This means it can be easily integrated into a wide variety of building types, from new constructions to retrofitted exciting properties, without adding risk and complexity to your project. If your building has unique requirements or you’re unsure about compatibility, our dedicated support team is ready to provide personalized advice to ensure a perfect fit.

  • In the event of a power outage, you can rely on our system’s built-in manual mode. This feature allows you to safely and easily lower the bed without electricity, simply by pulling down the bed.

  • The MASE Bed is factory-tested for 5,000 cycles, which corresponds to approximately 13–15 years of typical daily use. It is designed to operate reliably without the need for routine maintenance throught its lifecycle. All components are modular and can be replaced as needed by our service department.
